Advisory Board

Martin Lukeš

Martin Lukeš, a professor at the Prague University of Economics and Business, is a distinguished management scholar specializing in entrepreneurship and innovation. As Chair of the Advisory Board for the RIS4SEB project and a vice-rector for research, he provides strategic guidance to enhance research and innovation synergies among European schools of economics and business. His extensive publication record and active engagement in international research networks underscore his commitment to fostering academic excellence. His expertise is instrumental in advancing the project’s objectives, including the development of joint internationalization strategies, improved human resources policies, and increased competitiveness within the European Research Area.

Vilma Karoblienė

With over 15 years of project management experience, Dr Vilma Karobliene is knowledgeable and skilled in research and innovation, and other programs of EU. Dr Vilma is the leader of Research and Innovation Projects Centre at Kaunas University of Technology. Dr Vilma is also involved in the activities of ECIU (European ANO Consortium of Innovative Universities) and she is an expert of ECIU group for Research and Innovation Policy and Programmes. Dr Vilma, holding a PhD in economics, highlights the importance of the development of innovative and digitally based business entities, emphasizing their role in achieving sustainability.

 

Lina Girdauskienė

Dr. Lina Girdauskiene is a president of Lithuanian Conference of Rectors of Universities of Applied Science and the director of Lietuvos inzinerijos kolegija|HEI. Her research areas are Change, Human resource management, Gamification, Agile organization. She is an author and co-author of more than 30 publications, expert of more than 15 scientific, R&D, study, business projects.

Andrius Zuoza

Dr. Andrius Zuoza is an accomplished leader with extensive expertise in business strategy and global market development. In his current role, he focuses on advancing innovative solutions in the fertilizer sector, promoting sustainability, and enhancing operational efficiency. With a PhD in Economics Dr. Zuoza brings a dynamic perspective to driving international business growth.

Satu Teerikangas

Satu Teerikangas is Professor in Management & Organization at the School of Economics, University of Turku & Honorary Professor, University College London. Her research centers on the management of strategic change as well as forms and dynamics of sustainability agency. She has won over 2 million € of research funding from the leading Finnish research funders. Presently, she co-leads the Finnish Research Council funded research consortium exploring Biodiversity-respectful leadership.

Helena Valas

Ms Valas holds an LL.M. in International Business Law and has over 20 years of experience in private companies and public administration. She is passionate about intellectual property and technology transfer and is a firm believer in the infinite human potential.

Zdeněk Dufek

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics. He works as an associate professor at the Institute of Construction Economics and Management at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology. He also serves as a court expert specializing in business valuation.

Aneta Kučerová

Aneta Kučerová has been the Head of the European Research Area Unit at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports since 2024. Her work focuses on national R&D strategy, stakeholder engagement, the implementation of international cooperation in R&D, and the coordination of Czech participation in international R&D programmes, notably the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, Horizon Europe.

Manuela Brusoni

Manuela Brusoni is an Associate Professor of Practice of Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management. At SDA Bocconi, she is Dean’s Delegate for Accreditation and a member of the Scientific Board of the Impact Investing Lab. Besides her research publication and policy responsibilities in the field of business-government relations, she has performed a number of roles in management education evaluation, such as Chair Elected of various Committees of the Academy of Management (such as Chair Elected of Management Education Division, Chair Elected of the Best Article Committee of the Public Non Profit Division, Best Reviewer Award Health Care Management Division). Now she is Chair of the Accreditation Commission of ASFOR (Associazione Italiana per la Formazione Manageriale), the Italian Association for Management Education, member of its Board and contact person in ENQA- the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, System Evaluator for ANVUR (Agenzia nazionale di valutazione del sistema universitario e della ricerca), member of working groups in ENQA and EFMD and mentor for AACSB.

Maria Eizaguirre Dieguez

Dr. María Eizaguirre Diéguez is a senior leader with over 20 years of experience in higher education, marketing strategy, and innovation. As a professor, researcher, and executive, she specialises in internationalisation, research management, and fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Her expertise in strategic leadership, cross-cultural management, and developing impactful educational models aligns closely with RIS4SEB’s mission to enhance research capacity and international engagement. A Rhodes Scholar with a DPhil from the University of Oxford, she is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Táňa Hálová Perglová

Táňa is a section director in the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. She has been strongly engaged in synergies between national, cohesion and union programmes on both national and EU levels.

Voldemar Tomusk

Dr. Voldemar Tomusk is a scholar, author and a non-profit executive. He has served over two decades in senior positions in Open Society Foundations, supporting higher education development in various world regions, including Asia, Europe, and Middle East and North Africa. His academic interests fall in the area of Sociology of Education and Philosophy of Technology and the related Policy Studies. Currently Voldemar holds Visiting Researcher’s positions at Tallinn University and Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia.

Andreas Veispak

Andreas is the Head of Research, Innovation and Development at EBS. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, working on numerous projects across different sectors of the economy. He joined the European Commission in 2005 where he worked on the automotive industry and was responsible for issues related to industrial competitiveness, energy and the environment. He also worked in the office of the Director General of DG GROW at the EC (internal market, industrial competitiveness, space – Copernicus and Galileo – entrepreneurship and SMEs), following which led the EC’s activities related to space data (Copernicus Earth Observation Programme) and the unit dealing with eInfrastructures and the European Open Science Cloud. Andreas was educated at the University of Oxford where he studied Modern History.
